This design was created for the monthly folding challenge here: [link]

Yes, I know there are no tail spikes. Abstract designs for this particular subject usually have to compromise on either the spikes, proportions elsewhere, or end up being really complicated and stacking up the paper layers pretty quickly. Tail spikes wouldn't be hard to graft on (I may do it later) but it would exceed the limit of 30 folds set by the challenge.

Let me know if any steps are ambiguous. Although not for the first time folder, this design should be doable by anyone who can fold a crane.

Usage Policy
This design isn't complicated, so I would not be surprised if similar designs exist. However, it was not created using any references of similar simplicity. If you follow my diagrams to create a Stegosaurus and wish to post the result as artwork either here or elsewhere, please credit the design you used to create the model.

What was the "challenge"? I'm confused about the 30-fold limit you mentioned.
